About VLACS

The Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS) is an online school offering a flexible and customized education to students worldwide. Our mission is to use the latest technology to provide our students with any time, unlimited access to a rigorous, personalized education that helps students learn today, graduate tomorrow and prepare for the future.

When you rep VLACS, your new gear tells the story of our students. The VLACS stamp illustrates the story of the student in celebration for their academic journey ahead. Accompanying the student is their network of support -- instructors, business leaders, guardians, and fellow students, cheering them on throughout their time at our school. To tie these elements together is the safe space we foster, with the opportunity to later break out into the real-world to build new connections.

VLACS is a state-approved charter school, public school, and a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Any proceeds VLACS receives from Spreadshirt will go directly to our McGarr Fund. Every year, students have an opportunity to apply for our Norma McGarr Award that provides students with resources that they can put towards their college and career goals.
